I agree in all entirety. The Bamboo is shit. I would know; I own one… I’ve tried so many times to use the thing, and all I’ve gotten high shit results. The main problem with the thing the shitty driver, but I do find that the tablet is prone to pixelating all of my artwork because of the shitty touch receptors on the thing.
Ah well…

I’ve never had much luck even with the high end Wacom tablets honestly. I have an old graphire 2 that works as well as my roommate’s Intuos. Both of them seem to have wobbling when drawing, I’ve never been able to figure out how to solve it. Oh well, I’m more of a traditional arts person anyway.

What’s wrong with it? My boyfriend is gonna get one and, though I’m urging him not to, the only thing I know about it is that it ‘feels like papur’

What if you’re just interested in doodling or the like? For a non-serious artist do you think it’d be okay?

That’s what they give for being so cheap. :/
I’m still wondering if I should save up for an Cintiqe. Should be fun to have one…

Open Canvas 2 seems to have a line correction option, kind of like Flash. But it doesn’t look so generic to me.
Wobbling lines are always a problem.
