Sounds like a fun character! Can’t wait to see him in action Maybe Louie sounds good? Or just Lou? I’m thinking of Lou Reed on the cover of Transformer.

I suck at names so I won’t try but if you’re going for the emo-ish kinda look, why not go for a skunk?

What about a husky? A dog pal for Marty, but a really distinctly different breed. The reason why I suggest it is the emo/gothness plays well with colors like black, white, and grey. So instead of style being incidental it’s almost genetic. As for names I don’t think I can suggest anything that you’d like. Emo names to me are like “aiden” or “kai” or something overly artsy like that. *shrug*

I think you’re one that right track. A badger who’s a bit shy but definitely a bit more of the outwardly faggy if his physical self somewhat clashes with that image. I hear badger and I think a solid smaller character. Something along the lines of a ‘Silent Bob’ sort of thing. His name, if you’re going the goth thing, should be something prissy he can shorten or play off of since his family is a bit preppy and wealthy but he’s the “black sheep”.
